New Oval Hair Cut For The New Year

By Dennis E. Price

Before you head off and book your New Year appointment to completely change your look. Stop and think first of all what the new look would entail before you visit the saloon. A completely new look will be able to give you heaps of confidence whereas a bad haircut will be soul destroying. Think about what you want out of your visit before you arrive.

There are a number of different ways in which you can style your hair. The main thing to remember is always try and style your hair around your face shape. We are all familiar with a round or square face shape there are also oval and rectangle shapes to consider also.

Round faces are better at selecting styles which are tapered going down the side of the face with a fringe. Avoid short round type bobs or tights curls as this will not work well with your face shape.

Another popular look is a square face which will require lots of soft curls in order to balance out the face shape.

Oval faces are just perfect in every way as just about any type of style will suit their oval face.

Always think about the way you lead your life when deciding on your hair cut. A few questions to ask would be , do you lead a sporty life or do you have a busy work schedule, do you work from home or have a house full of kids running around. Think carefully about the above questions as they will play a big role in deciding about what type of hair cut to go for on your next visit.

When you are out and about on your daily routine. Gather lots of information for new hairstyles and fashion either by looking around you on your travel into work or in magazines. You can then follow this up by approaching your hairdresser about any new style you wish before embarking on a new look.

Ask yourself if you are good at hairdressing and if you can replicate the same styles at home. The biggest questions to ask would be time and how much time you can spend in the mornings with your new style before you decide to make any drastic changes.
